The modern 2-room apartment (1 bedroom) is located in Amden at 900 meters above sea level. From the large sun terrace (40sqm), the vista sweeps over the Alps. The well-furnished apartment consists of a large living room with a new pull-out sofa bed for 2 persons (63x79 in.), satellite TV (incl. Chromecast) and DAB radio. A well equipped (oven, coffee maker by Nespresso, microwave and fridge freezer) kitchen with counter and dining table integrated in the living area. The attractive bathroom consists of shower/bath, toilet and sink. The bedroom is equipped with new twin beds (2 x 35x79 in.) with pocket spring mattresses, wardrobe and desk. If required, a cot and a highchair are available. Pets are not allowed. Smoking in the apartment is not permitted. Internet (wifi) is available free of charge.
On the quiet and idyllic outskirts of the village Amden with a fabulous view of the Swiss mountains above the Walensee, lies the modern holiday apartment "Grossgaden". Its location, near the center of Amden (about 10 minutes away), is considered a unique starting point. The hiking area, chairlift station, restaurants, café, shopping or the indoor pool are within walking distance. The nearest bus station (Amden, Brugg) is within a few minutes walk. In no time you are at the turquoise Walensee or in the family-friendly ski area. There is a reserved parking space in the underground lot for your car.
The Amden and Weesen resorts are characterized by the unique combination of lake and mountain. The Walensee Riviera, with the emerald blue Walensee, its Mediterranean shores and the wild Alps in the distance, offers a perfect composition. Whether walking along the Walensee, over lovely mountain trails or to the mountain peaks of Speer, Mattstock or Leistchamm - the diverse hiking area provides a diversity in nature. The panoramas of the awe-inspiring mountains are often indescribably beautiful. The family-friendly ski resort Amden-Arvenbüel and the renowned ski school are especially popular with beginning skiers. The attractive mountains are also inviting for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or winter hiking. Amden is also ideally located for exploring the area. The cities of Rapperswil, Chur, Lucerne and Zurich are within easy reach. The perfect place for holidays in Switzerland!
