The holiday property is situated in the picturesque Fuldera Daint, directly on the hiking trails, including the Grisons Way of St. James, cross-country ski tracks, snowshoe and ski touring trails.
Straight from the front door you can go on hikes to the surrounding mountains Piz Daint, Dora, Turettas or Terza as well as to the (lake) Lai da Rims or (valley) Val Mora and in winter, just a few meters away, follow the cross-country skiing tracks of Olympic champion Dario Cologna.
From the nearby postbus stop Fuldera Daint you can easily set off for further excursions with dream landscapes within the Val Müstair Nature Park or in the Swiss National Park with free public transport already from Zernez integrated in the booking.
In wintertime the ski bus grants you free of charge transportation to the contemplative skiing area Minschuns with 360 degree mountain panorama view including the impressive Ortler mountainous massif.
Sightings of wild animals such as bearded vultures, golden eagles, ibex, deer, roe deer or chamois are not uncommon and, with a bit of luck and a good eye, can even be observed from the living room window on the opposite Munt Lü.
Bycyclists benefit from breathtaking nature trails, a nonstop cycle path through the entire Val Müstair and Val Venosta until Meran or even Bozen, or fantastic pass routes over Oven pass, Umbrail and Stelvio pass.
Those leaving and touring by car and motorbike also get their money's worth via the surrounding Swiss Alpine passes and the ideal location at the entrance gate to the mighty Dolomites.
The village shop, the Chastè da Cultura (cultural center) as well as the excellent guesthouse Staila can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes.
