Location and general information: The Chesa Melcher is one of the many historic buildings in the village of Zuoz. The apartment on the ground floor of the house has been renovated, retaining the old elements without compromising on comfort. The result is a unique apartment with modern standards and the cosiness of old times. The Chesa Melcher is located at the end of the ski run to the village, directly at the valley station of the chair lift Chast¬latsch. The railway station and the village centre are within a few minutes' walk. In winter the bus stop of the free local bus service is right in front of the house, in summer the "Züglein", which goes to the national park. The single garage in the house, which is part of the ground floor apartment, can also be used to store skis and bicycles. The two apartments in the house share a laundry room in the basement. There is no lift in the Chesa Melcher. Pets are not allowed in the Chesa Melcher. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
Room layout: The apartment in the Chesa Melcher has two double bedrooms, the larger of which has a wooden cot.  The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet. A cosy, very grey living room adjoins the wide, old corridor, where the dining room and the modern Bulthaup kitchen are located. From the dining room there is access to a small, south-facing balcony. The apartment also has a sunny garden seating area in front of the basement of the property.
Appointments: The apartment in the Chesa Melcher shows very beautiful, well preserved features of old times. For example, the living room and corridor have remained almost unchanged, while the kitchen and bathroom are modern. In the rooms there are old parquet floors, in the dining area and in the kitchen there are large natural stone plates. The bathroom is equipped with white ceramic tiles. In the kitchen there is a glass ceramic hob with a steam extractor, an oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The apartment is equipped with satellite TV and free W-Lan.
