Built in 2007, "Monal" is situated in a quiet location close to the village centre at the edge of the forest, just below Riederweg. In winter, you have the pleasure of skiing right to the doorstep. In summer, "Monal" is the perfect starting point for hikes. The nearby Sunnegga lift, which is just a few minutes by foot, gets you swiftly to the Sunnegga skiing and hiking area. The e-bus, which is located directly in front of the valley station, takes you to the Gornergrat Bahn and Matterhorn Paradise cable car. Skis can be rented opposite of the Sunegga valley station. The Cervo, La Calêche and Chez Heini restaurants are close by.
