Description of the holiday rental
Restored Engadine house part in the village centre of Zuoz (former barn). Two-storey attic flat (130m2 living space) with open gallery and lots of natural light. It is a centrally located village flat with views of Engadine houses, church tower and mountains. There are 2 apartments in the Chesa Talvo: in addition to the upper holiday flat, there is another flat downstairs that is rented out all year round. The flats are not suitable for the disabled, as there is no lift. The flats offer modern comfort: large living room with Swedish stove (fireplace), TV, digital radio. Beautiful dining room with, separated by a large Arven wood buffet, very well equipped kitchen (new appliances: glass ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher).
2 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom and 1 double bed on the open gallery on the 2nd floor. All mattresses/beds are 200x90cm. Bed linen is provided. 2 bathrooms each with 1 WC, 1 shower, on the lower floor with additional 1 bathtub (please bring your own personal towels for the bathrooms). The flat has parquet flooring on the lower floor and low-fibre carpeting on the upper floor. Staircase, kitchen and bathrooms have tiled floors.
In the entrance area: heated shoe cupboard (for ski boots etc). In the cellar there is a washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board and iron are also available. The garage is available for 1 car free of charge - there are also: ski and snowboard storage facilities, as well as free firewood for the fireplace in the flat. The Chesa Talvo is very centrally located in Zuoz: shopping in the village centre: 2 minutes walk, winter: Ski lifts and toboggan run Zuoz: 5 minutes walk. Ski lifts St. Moritz/Celerina: 20 minutes by car or by train to the valley station ski area Marguns/Corviglia. Various cross-country ski runs nearby. In summer: 18-hole golf course 5 minutes by car. Various hiking possibilities in the immediate vicinity.
