It was not until 1956 that Albinen was reached on a newly built road. This led to a spirit of optimism in the village. Many people decided to escape the cramped living conditions in the village centre and built their own home with a balcony and adjoining garden. The Xaver house was completed in 1967. The 2nd floor was extended in 1991. The two-storey house is slightly off the main road and can be reached via a narrow access road.
