Arven Lodge

The lodge is furnished very exclusively. The house is shared by the owner, two cats and a dog. The two bedrooms are on the top floor of the house. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, a television (Internet TV), a sofa and a small refrigerator with a kettle and a coffee machine (Tassimo). From the room, you have direct access to the balcony with a seat. From the balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains opposite in the Sardona region and the Leistchamm. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, a television (Internet TV) and a sitting area. The guest bathroom is on the same floor. It is furnished with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. The large living room and kitchen can be shared with the other occupants of the house. In the open-plan kitchen, there is a coffee machine (filter coffee with grinder) as well as a dishwasher, an oven, a steamer, a refrigerator, a raclette oven and a fondue set. Various baking utensils are available for baking. The living room has a dining area, a sofa, a television (Internet TV) and a fireplace (Swedish stove). Toys and board games are available for children. Next to the kitchen, there is another seating area with a charcoal barbeque out on the terrace. In the house, there is a gym with a small sauna and a Turkish steam bath for shared use. In the basement, there is a washing machine and a tumble dryer for shared use. A highchair or cot can be provided upon request. Pets are welcome. Smoking is permitted outside. Wireless internet is available in the house.

The modern Arven Lodge is located on the outskirts of Arvenbüel. The house with three floors is shared by the owner, a dog and two cats and offers a total of 4 beds. The owner is often out and about. There is a large garden around the lodge, plus the Amden-Arvenbüel skiing and hiking area. From the balcony and terrace, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains. The centre of Amden and the village of Weesen can be reached in about 10 minutes by car or from the Arvenbüel, Arven bus stop, which is 250 metres from the house. In the centre of Amden, there is the Mattstock chairlift, the Volg mini supermarket, die Molkerei dairy shop, a café with a bakery and the indoor swimming pool. A total of three parking spaces are available in front of the chalet.

The holiday paradise of Amden, with its unique panorama of mountains and a lake, offers a variety of hikes and walks. The excellent location is ideal for excursions in the region. The cities of Zürich, St. Gallen, Chur or Lucerne can be reached in about an hour's drive. Rapperswil, the town of roses, with its pretty old town, the Knie children's zoo and various shops can be reached in just half an hour. In winter, the lodge is an ideal starting point for skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing. You can even ski right to the front door, as the house is located in the middle of the Amden-Arvenbüel ski resort. In summer, many hikes can be started from the house. Tip: The hike around the Flügenspitz can be started directly from the lodge. It leads through beautiful landscapes with valleys and streams. The Walensee also offers numerous summer activities such as boat trips, boat rentals and beaches.
