The "Heidehüs" was built in the late Middle Ages at the end of the 14th century. It is the only "Heidehüs" and probably the oldest still existing house in the Binntal. The name "Heidehüs" probably derives from "Heide" and means old or unknown. From 1980 to 1983, the "Heidehüs" was lovingly renovated and comfortably expanded by Joachim Schmid. The location is unique and very quiet (only the church bell can be heard), with a view of the Breithorn, the Lengtal and the Binntal. From spring, after the snowmelt, to autumn, the "Heidehüs" is directly and conveniently accessible by car via a paved private road. It is a ten-minute walk from the village center. The "Heidehüs" is the top house in Wilern, about a hundred meters above the church of Binn. In winter, the valley station of a 400 m long ski lift is right next door. The local tourist authority's tariffs will be charged separately and are not included in the price. The holiday apartment is on the 1st floor and is suitable for couples or families with 1 to 2 children. The living kitchen is cozy and practically furnished. In addition to the fondue set and the Nespresso coffee machine, all cooking and eating utensils are new and available for 6 people. A 120-liter boiler provides the hot water. The double bedroom is equipped with built-in wardrobes. In the cozy living room, in addition to a cozy seating area that invites you to linger, there is a sofa that can be converted into two separate full-size beds. Additionally, a small bedroom with a bed can be rented for CHF 15.–/day. The "Giltsteinofen" is heated with wood from the kitchen. All rooms have thermostatically controlled electric heaters.
