Casa Albisetti, ein Traum am Lago Maggiore

Casa Albisetti is located in Caviano in Gambarogno, on the left bank of Lake Maggiore. The house was designed and built in the 1970s by the "Atelier 5" group of architects. The "Atelier 5" group played a key role in shaping modern housing development in Switzerland. It is a timelessly beautiful house with unrestricted, fantastic views over Lake Maggiore, the Isole di Brissago, the valleys and the mountains on the right-hand side of the lake.
For the sake of sunlight, the house has been joined together by open terraces in a tower-like design. This creates a complex layout on the steep terrain that optimally combines living and sleeping on three floors. The light-flooded living spaces, including the open-plan kitchen, are located on the top floor, which is accessed at ground level due to the steep slope. There are five bedrooms, a guest WC and two bathrooms on the two floors below.
Although the house has a large number of beds, it also offers a cosy atmosphere for small families. Thanks to the ideal bed layout, four and three beds per floor, as well as the two bathrooms, two small families can also spend their holidays together.

IMPORTANT: As the house can be rented for 2 to 7 people, the manager will decide on site which rooms the guests would like to occupy. The remaining rooms will be closed.
The nearest beach can be reached on foot in about five minutes. Many picturesque little towns around the lake can be explored and visited. Wonderful hikes can be undertaken directly from the house and the lake invites you to swim at public beaches.
But you can also simply have a marvellous "hüsele" at "Casa Albisetti". The nearest shop, a small grocery shop, is in the village and can be reached on foot in about five minutes.
