The holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of a 3-storey multi-family house. The house itself is situated in a quiet location on a wind-protected, sunny south slope with a wonderful view of the mountains and terraced villages on the left side of the valley.
It takes 5 minutes by car to reach the valley station of the Lumnezia Obersaxen Mundaun mountain railways, which is 2.5 km away. Access is also possible by public transport and the free sports bus.
In winter, the mountain village is an ideal starting point for romantic snowshoe tours through quiet and untouched snow landscapes. From here you can also access the extensive winter hiking trail network of Val Lumnezia.
From the village of Cumbel you can take walks to the local "Maiensäße" and extended hikes to the legendary Bündner Rigi. For regular outdoor fitness, a Vita Parcours is available in the immediate vicinity.
Surselva holiday offers
Within a radius of max. 20 km you can reach four large ski and winter sports areas as well as numerous cross-country skiing trails, ice fields, winter hiking and sledging trails and starting points for ski tours and snowshoe hikes. The highlights of the holiday and leisure activities in the warm season include, among others, alpine hiking, via ferratas, cycling tours, golf, mini-golf, tennis courts, paragliding, swimming in outdoor pools and natural lakes, wellness, river rafting, fishing, children's playgrounds, cultural-historical, botanical and geological guided tours as well as culinary hikes.
