Balcony furniture. Marvellous view of the mountains and the skiing and hiking area. Garage can be rented on request Fr. 8.-- per day. Free outdoor car park available. Please note: Non-smoking accommodation. Family-friendly, LGBT gay-friendly. The flat is on the 1st floor of Haus Manuela. In a sunny position. Location description: The Wiriehorn holiday centre is located in the Diemtigtal, a side valley of the Nieder- simmental. In addition to the residential areas on the valley floor, the Diemtigtal has extensive woodlands and sought-after Alpine pastures. Alpine farming has always been of great importance. A unique feature of the Diemtigtal landscape is that different stages of vegetation can be observed in the same period of time. This is due to the structure of the valley with the lowest point at 640 metres above sea level (Burgholz) and the highest point at 2652 metres above sea level (Männlifluh). The unspoilt and varied landscape of the Diemtigtal is also characterised by various mountain lakes with their impressive backdrops in the midst of the imposing mountain world. In addition to the mountain lakes, there are various watercourses such as the Fildrich and Chirel, which meander down the valley. Alpine farming, the numerous bodies of water and the unique flora and fauna characterise the valley. The Diemtigtal / Albrist area was identified as suitable for a regional park in the preliminary clarification and the municipality of Diemtigen expressed its interest in the creation of a regional nature park. Be our guests, for hours, for days, for weeks, as sportspeople, as connoisseurs, as visitors and spectators, as nature lovers, as regulars or festival-goers, as gourmets, as friends... The Diemtigtal has committed itself to gentle tourism and counts mainly nature-loving, active tourists and families among its guests. It has a basic tourist infrastructure for winter and summer tourism. The holiday centre is located in the middle of the valley below the Wiriehorn at 1100 m above sea level, right next to the chairlift to the Nüegg. Grouped around the village square are 11 houses with 185 flats. There is an integrated restaurant and a large sports hall in the immediate vicinity for various sports (including indoor tennis). It is the starting point for a variety of hikes and in winter the meeting point for the snow sports school.
