Since 2001, the area has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The destination includes Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp, and Riederalp and is a popular spot for hikers, skiers, and cross-country skiers. The Goms with its renowned cross-country skiing trails is also in close proximity.
