Maiensäss Tegia Cucagna, Rueun

Bedrooms:
2 bedrooms upstairs: Cozy bedrooms, each with two single beds and a unique view. One bed in each room is foldable and can be stored under the other bed. The bedrooms have a large closet for clothes and storage. An additional child's bed is available (foldable travel bed). Bed linen is provided and included in the price. In the living room downstairs, the sofa can be converted into a double bed for two more people.

Living area:
An open living area with kitchen/dining/living space. The living room features a stove and cooking island in the center, a dining table with 4-6 chairs, a sofa bed, and a frame. Free WLAN is available throughout the apartment. The PV system provides electricity for lighting and charging laptops, mobile phones, or e-bikes. A fully automatic pellet stove and a battery system with solar boiler ensure comfortable warmth and hot water.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stove with oven, mixer, and espresso machine (coffee not provided), a raclette oven, and a fondue caquelon. Kitchen linen is provided and included in the price. Compost bin for green waste is available. Resources such as water, gas, wood, and electricity must be used carefully. Self-sufficient Maiensäss with its own spring and a sewage tank without drainage.

Bathroom:
The bathroom features a WC, a sink with mirrored cabinet, and a shower. Towels must be brought by the guests. Note: No hair dryer available (too much electricity required).

Outdoors:
A well/solar outdoor shower is available for warm summer days, as well as a hot tub for a relaxing wellness experience.

The 3 1/2-room Maiensäss (52 m2) was completely renovated in 2021. The cozy vacation home with an attached shed on the south slope above Rueun stands alone in the midst of an intact mountain world. Pasture meadows, forests, and small streams surround Tegia Cucagna. Enjoy the wide view with the mountain panorama of Surselva from the hot tub. In spring, summer, and autumn, the Maiensäss is accessible via the alpine road from Rueun or Siat (permit required) with a suitable vehicle (with parking). In winter, the path from Siat to the hut can be traversed with snowshoes (approx. 1 1/2 hours). A paradise for those seeking peace, nature lovers, hikers, climbers, bikers, and in winter, snowshoeing, ski touring, winter walks, and with a bit of luck, wildlife watching.
