Niesen "the swiss pyramid": After a spectacular ride by the funicular train, the view from the top at an altitude of 2362 meters offers a splendid 360° panorama of the imposing Bernese Alps, the lakes Thun and Brienz and to the Bernese lowland.

Aeschi is easy to reach both by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) and by car.
