Modern comfort in a historic building! The charmingly renovated 1-room apartment in the former mill of the Engadine mountain village of Ardez is unique. The house is situated about a 10 minutes´ walk from the centre of Ardez, it stands alone and in an absolute quiet location. Enjoy your most beautiful time of the year - your holiday time in Ardez, a typical Engadine village, with traditional Engadin houses, the Swiss national park, and excellent skiing, family and hiking offers close by. In the same house there is also a 4.5-room holiday apartment and a 1.5-room holiday apartment. The three apartments can be rented together, an ideal opportunity for larger families and multi-generation holidays.

The almost 25m2 large studio is on the ground floor of the former mill of Ardez and has been renovated in 2021 in a simple but modern way. The apartment is ideal for 1-2 people. The house is very quietly located just outside the village on the summer street to the picturesque village of Ardez-Sur-En, the main filming location in the Schellenursli film. A fountain with fresh Engadine water burbles directly in front of the front door. Shopping facilities and the post office are in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be bought directly from the nearby nature farm Campell.

In the same house there is also a 4.5 room holiday apartment and another Studio. All three apartments can be rented together too, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generation holidays.

The Ardez railway station is 650 m away and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes. The ski area Motta Naluns can be reached via Ftan by car in 5 minutes, via Scuol by train in 10 minutes. Ardez has a cross-country ski run which can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has an 8.5 km Dario Cologna cross-country trail. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but snow chains or a 4x4 drive are still an advantage, depending on the snowfall and road conditions. A pick-up service from the train station can be arranged.

In summer, the region offers fantastic opportunities for hikes of all lengths. The hike from Ardez to Tarasp via a suspension bridge and then onwards to Scuol is very popular or also a visit to Murtera d´Ardez, another location in the Schellenursli Film. The Swiss National Park is located nearby.
