Maiensäss Rameidels

The Maiensäss can accommodate 5 adults or 2 adults and 4 children and consists of three separate rooms. Right at the entrance you will find the well-equipped kitchen. Please note that there is no running water in the house, you can fetch it fresh from the well in front of the house. A mobile container serves as a sink. Kitchen linen is ready for you. The refrigerator is replaced by the cellar. Heating is done with wood, which is at your disposal. Cooking can be done on the wood stove or with a gas rechaud. In the parlor a storage stove provides pleasant warmth on cool evenings. The parlor is comfortably furnished with a corner bench and a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa. Adjacent is the bedroom, which is equipped with a double bunk beds. It can accommodate 4 adults and correspondingly more children.

Surrounded by magnificent flower meadows, the Maiensäss "Rameidels" is enthroned with a panoramic view over half of the Prättigau. The Maiensäss, which has been built with a lot of craftsmanship, is located in an impressive panoramic position at around 1250 m above sea level. The charming Maiensäss has been built to a very high standard and is furnished with original, beautiful wooden furniture. The seating area in front of the house invites you to linger and enjoy. Guests have a barbecue (with wood) at their disposal. Also a heated hot tub is available for a small extra charge and offers fantastic views.

The spacious and modern bathroom with usual comfort, incl. shower possibility, is located in the stable, right next to the Maiensäss. As a guest in the Maiensäss Rameidels you should be able to handle wood stove and wood stove. The electricity comes from a solar system, you have the possibility to charge your electronic devices.

The Maiensäss is accessible by private car via a one-lane, unpaved gravel/mountain road. In addition to sufficient ground clearance for the car, you need a driving permit for the car. This will be provided by the owner. You can drive up to about 150 meters to the Maiensäss and then park the car in a parking bay. The check-in is done by the owner, who will gladly explain everything to you in detail. He will of course also help you with the transport of your luggage at check-in.

In the village of Fideris (approx. 15 min. by car) you will find a grocery store, a bakery, an idyllically situated outdoor swimming pool with a small gastronomic offer and in the village a restaurant and a Besenbeiz. A wide network of hiking trails is literally at your feet. Mountain bike tours are possible from the house.
