Ideal starting point for hikes in the Malcanatone, on Monte Lema and Monte Tamaro. Monteggio is located halfway between Ponte Tresa and Luino. Lugano can be reached in approx. 30 minutes, Luino in approx. 10 minutes. Monteggio is well served by public transport. The bus stop is approx. 200 m from the holiday flat.
