Holiday cottage Craista

This century-old, detached house with very large grounds (meadows and forest) was run as a family guesthouse until the 1970s. Since the 1990s we have been renting it out as a holiday home to several families together or to groups. If you love nature, want to find peace and quiet and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains, the valley far below and Tarasp Castle on a sun terrace 1664 metres above sea level in the Lower Engadine, you are invited to read on.

Bos-cha lies between the well-known villages of Guarda (awarded the Wakker Prize) and Ardez, 14 km from Scuol and 18 km from Zernez, the entrance to the national park. You can get to Guarda or Ardez by public transport and then walk to Bos-cha. By car you can reach our holiday home right outside the door. Bos-cha is also the starting point for ski/snowboard tours to Piz Buin or Piz Cotschen as well as for challenging or leisurely bike tours or unforgettable high-altitude hikes.

The house is spacious and the rooms are cosily furnished with lots of wood panelling. All 2-bed rooms have a washbasin with running water. There are two WCs and one bathroom per floor (6 - 8 beds). In the former "restaurant" and the parlour you can read, play, dance, meditate or simply relax. The large heated veranda, with access to the large garden and forest, offers a wide, unobstructed view of the valley and Tarasp Castle. In the basement there is a large, well-equipped "hotel kitchen" with a small goods lift, a dining room and two simple rooms with a window, a WC and a shower. The large garden with table tennis, swings, slide and play and sunbathing lawn is located directly around the house. The adjoining larch forest with fireplace, views up and down the valley and the meadows belonging to the private property can be used and enjoyed (>7000 m2).
