Village description: Lavin, 1,432 metres above sea level, at the south portal of the Vereina tunnel. Situated between Susch and Guarda at the bottom of the valley. Ideal starting point for hikes on both sides of the valley. At the destination of the Zernez-Macun National Park hike, genuine village atmosphere, children's playground. Lavin also has something to offer those interested in culture: Lavin church contains valuable and important wall paintings from the 16th century. Lavin, the starting point of the 60-kilometre panoramic high-altitude trail to Vinadi, lies at an ideal altitude of 1,432 metres above sea level. The village stretches out on a long, sloping terrace on the left side of the valley. The Inn runs in quiet, wide loops through a magnificent and varied river landscape.
