Description of the holiday rental

La Vouta" is a spacious four-room holiday flat (over 120 m2) in an old, large, typical Lavin house, as they were built after the fire of 1869. The structure of the flat is old and has been gently renovated, leaving as much as possible in its original state (strip flooring, wood panelling, doors). The infrastructure of the kitchen, bathroom and WC, however, has been upgraded to meet modern requirements. The large lounge (approx. 60 m2) with its barrel vault is a special feature of the flat. Cultural events (theatre, concerts, etc.) also take place here in the off-season. This is why there is also a piano here, which can be used as an instrument. Each of the three rooms has its own character. The kitchen in a cross vault is large and can also serve as a dining room. The flat has a terrace on the south side of the house and a seating area on the west side.

Location description: Lavin, 1,432 metres above sea level, at the south portal of the Vereina tunnel. Situated between Susch and Guarda at the bottom of the valley. Ideal starting point for hikes on both sides of the valley. At the destination of the Zernez-Macun National Park hike, genuine village atmosphere, children's playground. Lavin also has something to offer those interested in culture: The Lavin church contains valuable and important wall paintings from the 16th century. Lavin, the starting point of the 60-kilometre panoramic high-altitude trail to Vinadi, lies at an ideal altitude of 1,432 metres above sea level. The village stretches out on a long, sloping terrace on the left side of the valley. The Inn runs in quiet, wide loops through a magnificent and varied river landscape.
