Ideal flat for sports, nature and culture lovers. From the sunny seating area at the rear you have a wonderful view of Piz Lunghin, 2780m, and the Inn Falls.

Maloja is a paradise for cross-country skiers and ski tourers, the cross-country ski trails start 150 metres from the house and lead directly to the start of the Engadin Ski Marathon by the lake, and two challenging circular trails are also prepared in Maloja.

Skiers will find a children's lift, pony lift and the Aela ski lift, popular with freeriders, within walking distance. The Corvatsch, Corviglia and Diavolezza ski areas in the Engadin can be reached within 15 minutes by bus or private car.

Additional winter activities: ice rink, snow tubing, tobogganing, snowshoeing and not forgetting the many snow hiking trails, for example across the Upper Engadine lakes.
Summer activities: trekking, mountaineering, fishing, sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. A visit to Bergell with its typical mountain villages, the Sentiero Panoramica to Soglio and a visit to the Ciäsa Granda Nature Museum with exhibits by Giacometti.

St. Moritz with its attractions is 17 km away; horse racing, polo, jazz festival, Segantini Museum, Cresta Run Bob, etc.

For winter 2018/19, the Upper Engadin mountain railways are introducing a new price model for the purchase of ski passes, the so-called "Snow Deal". The prices vary for day and multi-day passes depending on demand. Early bookers who book 15 days or more in advance save up to 30 per cent with the "Snow Deal".

The fascinating interplay of light and shadow has always attracted various artists. Giovanni Segantini chose Maloja as his last home and subject for so many nature paintings. Giovanni Giacometti, the father of Alberto Giacometti, also worked here. Their spirit still inspires exhibitions, readings and concerts in the Belvedere tower or in the Chiesa Bianca. The small pass village on the border with the unspoilt Bergell is popular with hikers, art lovers and families. The Sentiero Segantini invites you to get to know the village of Maloja better. At Hotel Longhin you will find a lovely children's play area, in the adventure park "Capel - the smugglers' trail" there are adventures to be had, the "Kukuk" playground will overwhelm every child and Lake Cavloccio at 1907 metres invites you to take a dip.
