Description of the holiday rental
This creative Studio with Loft, referred to as Bear Studio, is located on the upper floor of Chalet Snowbird. It has been most popular for shorter stays where a full kitchen is not needed. Its 390 square feet are accessed directly from an outside door from the balcony or from an interior door, which can connect to the upper Snowbird apartment. The main floor of the studio has a very comfortable Queen wall bed (Murphy bed 160 x 200 cm), a kitchenette, and a full bathroom. Up the stairs, past windows looking south to the glacier-encrusted Ebnefluh, is a cozy loft with two comfortable single beds. When waking in the morning on the Murphy bed, you are treated to a most amazing mountain view through four windows. When the bed is folded back into the wall, a comfortable living area emerges with a dining table seating up to five located by the window. The unique space-saving kitchenette has a sink, refrigerator, and twin cooking plate. A microwave, electric hot water pot, coffee pot, and toaster are available.
The option to combine the Bear Studio (sleeps 4) with the spacious Upper Snowbird apartment (sleeps 4) enables a family of up to 8 people to enjoy these two floors with 2 bathrooms. This is achieved easily by simply unlocking the door to the entry hall of the main apartment. The two living spaces are then combined offering the grand space of the main apartment and the flexibility of the studio.
