Description of the holiday rental
The duplex apartment Attika in the chalet Alpharmonie on two levels (110 m2) lovingly furnished in the Alpine style offers enough space for 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. The spacious lounge with cheminée (open chimney), flat-screen TV and audio equipment invite you to a cosy pause. There is a perfectly equipped open ensuite kitchen with coffee brewer, baking oven, micro wave and dish washer as well as access to the south side terrace with splendid view of the Matterhorn completed by an overview of the centre of the mountain village. The vast roofed terrace comprises a large dining table with eight chairs, two deck chairs, a sun umbrella and wind protection. The entrance of the apartment offers a further possibility to enjoy the mountain panorama sitting on a small garden patio. The complete apartment offers you underfloor heating and two modern bathrooms with shower and bath tub. The ground floor of the chalet provides the ski room with ski boot heating. In 5 minutes you can walk to the bus stop in Winkelmatten and restaurants with regional and international cuisine, as well as a children's playground and the small chapel, known for its seating on the south side, with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn and guaranteed hours of sunshine to linger. The Matterhorn Glacier cable car is within walking distance reachable in a few minutes. In 10 minutes by electric taxi you can reach the train station in the mountain village of Zermatt from the district of Wichje.
