Location and general information:
The newly renovated detached house Chesa La Rösa is situated in a beautiful panoramic location on a slope above the old village centre of Zuoz. The house is very quiet and sunny on a residential street. Two single garages below the property belong to the house. There is no possibility to park outside. There is no lift in the house. Pets are not allowed in the Chesa La Rösa. Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Room layout:
Chesa La Rösa extends over a total of three floors. The entrance to the house is very spacious and offers room for wardrobe and luggage. A small staircase leads to the ground floor, where there is a bathroom with shower, washbasin and separate toilet as well as the laundry room. Upstairs you reach the first floor with kitchen, living and dining room and access to the garden and loggia. The kitchen is modern and is located in a separate room with windows. The large panoramic window in the living room opens up the view over Zuoz and the mountain range opposite. The large fireplace in the living room provides a cosy atmosphere. There is a large TV set in the living room. A further staircase leads to the top floor, where there is a double bedroom with balcony, a children's room with two single beds and a bathroom with bathtub, washbasin and toilet. From the living room there is access to an exceptionally large sun terrace with a covered loggia, which invites you to linger in both summer and winter. Animals can regularly be observed in the garden.

The property is furnished to a very high standard. The living room has cosy upholstered furniture and a large dining table. The loggia is also equipped with a large dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob with steam extractor, an oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen is very well equipped and contains everything you need for cooking or baking. The television is operated via Swisscom TV. W-Lan is available free of charge.

Village description:
Zuoz - Customs and tradition in an idyllic mountain village
The townscape of Zuoz is considered to be the most beautiful in the Upper Engadine. Numerous proud patrician houses, such as the Chesa Planta, confidently present their typical bay windows and sgraffito decorations. Mysterious alleyways invite you to explore the village's colourful past. The magnificent 18-hole golf course, the inline skating track and the wide range of hiking and biking options provide a modern splash of colour. A special highlight of Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest coffee roastery in Europe. In winter, the Engadin Skimarathon cross-country ski trails are right outside the village and the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all levels of ability.

On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of enjoyable trails: the Upper Engadine offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadine lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen lakes of the Upper Engadine sparkle with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or toboggan down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
