The house is a bungalow and stands alone below the forest, it faces south with a view direction St. Moritz and is surrounded with a garden and meadows. It is ideal for holidays with kids and if you like it quiet. The total of beds is 8 (10 with the room in the basement, see below). Pets are allowed. The house has: • Two big living rooms: one is modern and pleasantly furnished. It has two sofas and three chairs, a small table, bookshelf with books and sideboard with TV. One sofa can be used as a bed for two people. The 2nd room is furnished with Swiss stone pine furniture (the traditional Engadine furniture) and has a big table with a corner seat and an additional lounge area. • The three double bedrooms, one of them with a bunk bed, are newly and practicable furnished. One bedroom includes a washbasin. • The kitchen is newly renovated and equipped with: dishwasher, refrigerator with freezing compartment, electric stove and oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fondue set. • There is one bathroom with a bathtub with shower, washbasin, toilette and hairdryer as well as a separate toilette. • Entrance corridor with wardrobe and washbasin. • The laundry in the basement (wash machine and tumble dryer) may be used. The basement contains a small bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom (washbasin, toilette, and shower) witch may be rented additionally. The access is via the garden only and it is modestly furnished. During the low season the house may be let for less than 4 persons.

Other leisure facilities: Winter: At the Ski areas of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza /Lagalb and Zuoz, as well as the smaller but charming areas, skiers and snowboarders find pistes waiting to be explored. Excursion possibilities: What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl. Welcome to the Engadin.

Location description: Zuoz – customs and traditions in the idyllic mountain village Zuoz is regarded as the most beautiful village in all of the Upper Engadin. Numerous patrician houses, such as the Chesa Planta, proudly display their typical oriel windows and sgraffiti façade decorations, while mysterious alleyways invite visitors to discover Zuoz’s eventful past. Meanwhile, a modern splash of colour is provided by a beautifully laid-out 18-hole golf course, an inline skating route and a varied network of hiking and mountain biking trails. A particular highlight in Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest-lying coffee-roasting plant in Europe. In winter, the cross-country ski trails of the Engadin Ski Marathon run directly past the village, while the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all ability levels.
