Description of the holiday rental
It was not until 1956 that Albinen was reached on a newly built road. This led to a spirit of optimism in the village. Many people decided to escape the cramped living conditions in the village centre and built their own home with a balcony and adjoining garden. The Xaver house was completed in 1967. The 2nd floor was extended in 1991.
The two-storey house is slightly off the main road and can be reached via a narrow access road. Here you will find peace and quiet surrounded by meadows and gardens. The mountains can be seen in the distance and the Pfynwald forest lies at your feet on the valley floor. Nature offers the most beautiful pictures all year round.
The flat is ideal for families. The large master bedroom and the two small children's rooms are functionally furnished.
The second floor is occupied by the landlords.
Other sports and leisure activities: All year round you can go on shorter and longer hiking tours. We recommend walking through the typical Valais village. The landlord will be happy to provide you with more detailed information. In summer, it is advisable to stroll through the nearby forest. In winter, a sleigh ride above the village is a unique experience.
Excursion possibilities: Albinen is part of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park. The park offers a wide range of activities. Visit the Torrentalp or the Gemmi Pass. As you are in the centre of Valais, there are plenty of varied day trips on offer: Alpine passes, Grand Dixence, the underground lake at St.Leonhard, Sion, Brig, etc.

The typical clustered village offers an insight into the way of life of Valais mountain farming families. The village shop is open all year round. The restaurants will be happy to spoil you, please note the opening times, and you will find many little surprises in the centre of the village, e.g. the Rosutrukelti, the Wasserhüs, the Pfäristadel, etc.
