Description of the holiday rental
Two-family chalet “Tschifra” Ski-in / Ski-out and an unloading area at the front door. A few meters away from the chalet is the Alpmatten ski lift, from which you can instantly reach the attractive Aletsch Arena ski area. Due to its immediate location at the edge of the forest, numerous hiking trails pass nearby. From the cable car station about 15 minutes, and about a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian connection lift into the village. In summer, start your hikes through the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn directly from Tschifra. The house faces the quiet south with an open view of the opposite mountains extending to the Valais Alps and the Matterhorn. Access road in winter is snow-covered and can be challenging to reach with a rolling suitcase. The path to the house is cleared of fresh snow, but depending on the weather it can be a bit slippery; on the steepest sections there are handrails. The major advantage is the location right at the ski lift and the phenomenal view. We recommend bringing as much as possible in a backpack. For skiers, it is ideally situated for “Ski In and Ski Out” right at the door. 4 1/2-room apartment with two south-facing balconies, two levels. Entrance level (1st floor): wardrobe; open kitchen with living and dining area and south-facing balcony; bathroom with bathtub and sink; laundry facilities; separate WC with sink and 1 double bedroom. Dachgeschoss: 1 double bedroom and 1 room with 2 single beds with south-facing balcony, shower/WC/sink.
