Chalet Waldegg: This family- and child-friendly chalet, idyllically situated, is available year-round and comfortably accommodates up to 12 people. It is thus ideal for, for example, 2 families who enjoy spending their holidays together. Information about the house: Chalet Waldegg is a three-storey building with 5 double rooms (twin rooms) and 2 single rooms, 2 showers/WCs, 1 separate WC, 1 living room, 1 dining room, and 1 kitchen. On the ground floor, you will find a double room, a toilet/shower room with sauna, a cellar, a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a storage room. On the living floor, besides the kitchen, living room, and dining room, there is one double and one single room (French bed, width 1.4 m). In the staircase area, on the intermediate floor leading to the attic, you will find a toilet/shower room and a separate WC. The attic has three double rooms and one single room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. An electric cooker, oven, fridge, and kitchen appliances provide the necessary kitchen comfort. A fondue set and raclette oven are also available. Tableware and cutlery are provided for more than 12 people, so you won’t be caught short even if you are visited by additional guests. Kitchen and bed linen (Nordic style) are provided for 12 people; however, you will need to bring your own toilet linen. Chalet Waldegg is also very suitable and well-equipped for children and toddlers. Upon request, child beds (120 x 80 cm) and other children's furniture, such as a high chair, are available. On the east side of the chalet, there is a covered balcony, and on the south side, a large terrace. You can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun on the balcony. On the terrace, you can have lunch in the sunshine under the shade of the sycamore tree before relaxing for an afternoon nap in a deck chair under a shady tree nearby. Even in wet and cool weather, the chalet has its charm: the tiled stove, which can be heated with wood, provides cozy warmth and can dry any damp clothes. You can also enjoy tropical climate in the sauna on the ground floor. In this dreamy chalet, you will find neither TV nor landline, LAN, WLAN, or music system. However, you can still be reached by mobile phone—if you wish to be. Surroundings of the house: While the adults find peace and relaxation in various spots around the house, the children enjoy playing in the surrounding fairytale-like forest. The open fire pit is perfect for excellent grilling. Prices: The rental of Chalet Waldegg costs CHF 1200 per week. In addition, you will pay the consumption-based electricity costs (approx. CHF 25 per week), the use of bed linen (CHF 15 per bed), the mandatory resort tax including the cantonal accommodation levy, and, if you arrive by car, CHF 20 per vehicle for the permit to use the private road for a maximum of 2 cars.
