Palazzo Comacio

This 35 m² studio apartment features a private bathroom with a shower. Green view. The room is furnished with a dining table, a seating area, and a double bed 160 cm wide. The kitchenette is equipped with two electric hobs, a fridge, a Nespresso machine, and the necessary crockery. In addition to underfloor heating, a fireplace stove provides a warm and cozy atmosphere. WLAN reception in every studio. Upon arrival, we provide: coffee capsules, crispy bread, butter, honey, and coffee cream for a first breakfast.

Coming from Bellinzona, the silhouette of the Palazzo Comacio appears on the outskirts of Roveredo, right next to the Romanesque tower of the church of San Giulio. The imposing building bears the name of its builder, Tomaso Comacio.

Roveredo is the capital of Mesolcina and is located in the valley floor. The village is nestled in a mountainous hilly landscape, which gives a sense of security. In addition to various notable historic buildings, Roveredo offers a lively village life and intact infrastructure, such as grocery stores, an organic products shop, two butchers, two pharmacies, a bakery, restaurants and bars.

The Moesa river, which runs through the village, allows for safe swimming during the summer season.

By public transport, Bellinzona is reachable in half an hour, while Locarno and Lugano in one hour.

The Calanca Valley and the Mesolcina Valley offer a rich cultural life. Here, people dance, sing, eat, drink, laugh, sow, harvest...
