Discover the charm and tranquillity of our renovated barn in Trogne, in the Val d'Hérens in the Valais. It is perfect for up to 4 people. This destination is ideal for those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and a place to recharge their batteries in a peaceful setting. Experience unforgettable moments in a space designed for relaxation and reconnecting with nature.

The stable area for the cows has been converted into a sleeping area. Upstairs, the hay area has been converted into a living room and kitchen. We designed the openings to take advantage of the panoramic view of the mountains and, above all, to catch the sun in winter. In summer, the large west-facing opening gives you a front row seat to admire the last colours of the sunset before night falls. During construction, particular care was taken to avoid as far as possible the use of chemical materials that are harmful to health (plastics, glues and paints).
The recent renovation focused on using natural materials to respect the spirit of the old building. We have reused as many of the materials already on site as possible. A large double bedroom can be separated into two smaller rooms by a solid wall, which we can install on request before your arrival. The bathroom, equipped with a rain shower, allows you to relax and reinvigorate in a serene atmosphere. A solar thermal system provides environmentally-friendly hot water and heating. The bedrooms and bathroom are heated using solar energy. The living room-kitchen is heated by a wood-burning storage stove.

In front of the barn, you can enjoy the fresh air and organise al fresco meals, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet and the sunsets. The terrace faces south/south-west. It can be accessed from the bedrooms or from the lounge/kitchen from the outside.

Trogne, a small hamlet of 60 inhabitants, is an ideal base from which to take advantage of the region's activities. Whether it's hiking in the mountains (summer walking, downhill skiing or cross-country skiing), cultural visits or tasting local produce, you'll find a wide range of options nearby to enrich your stay. The tranquillity of the area, combined with the variety of experiences on offer nearby, makes this holiday home a great place to get away from it all.
