Description of the holiday rental

Soak up Ascona's old-town in this chic, restful haven that sleeps up to four guests. The property is quietly positioned on the second floor of a three-storey residence (with a lift) and has been newly modernised. Its central location provides an enviable holiday base, close to both the thriving street scene and peaceful lakeside.

Inside, the apartment offers a generous layout with areas to unwind and entertain. The stylish living room has direct access to a pretty balcony, overlooking the old town and is furnished with a comfortable sofa suite, coffee table and a flat-screen TV. This spacious room also features a stylish dining area and leads through to a separate kitchen, also with balcony access. The slick, modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a boutique feel with a comfortable double bed, balcony access and a beach hut wardrobe

Bedroom 2: The stylish second bedroom is also furnished with a double bed

Please note this residence is currently situated next to a construction site, so some noise may occur between the daytime hours of approximately 8am and 6pm.

Location:

Ascona’s colourfully painted houses give the former fishing village a relaxed Mediterranean feel. The apartment’s position along ‘Via Borgo’, in the centre of Ascona provides access to an array of boutiques, cafes and art galleries. There is also a weekly market, where local products and handicrafts can be bought.

Guests can also enjoy one of Switzerland's most renowned 18-hole golf courses, which is located nearby as well as various water sports on offer. The Ascona Posta bus stop is 300 meters away and the Italian-speaking resort of Locarno is a short 8-10 minute drive/ bus ride away. Bellinzona is a 32-minute drive away and the Monte Tamaro adventure park is a 44-minute drive away.
