Hockenhorst

Chalet Hockenhorst is a very comfortable and cozy, detached, traditionally built Swiss family chalet which offers space for a total of 8 to 10 people. The chalet is divided into an Erdgeschoss (6 people) and the Untergeschoss (2-4 persons). The Chalet can be rented as a whole or per shed.

The chalet is accessible by car and has 2 private parking spaces in the parking garage of the adjacent chalet.

Chalet Hockenhorst is located in the village of Kippel in the Lötschental, Canton of Valais, Switzerland. The Lötschental falls partly under the Jungfrau-Aletsch, this area is on the World Heritage list of UNESCO.

The chalet is located at almost 1500 meters, on the southern slope above the picturesque and authentic village Kippel, in the middle of the most beautiful hiking area of ​​the region. The chalet is accessible by car and has 2 private parking spaces in the parking garage of the neighboring chalet.

Winter:
Within walking distance (8-10 min.) In the beautiful village of Wiler, lies the aerial cableway (LuftSeilbahn) which brings to the sunny and very snow-sure ski area Lauchernalp (1.968 to 3.111 meters!).

The ski area is not too massive and offers very varied skiing opportunities, including off-piste, for both beginners and advanced skiers. Lauchernalp is often used as a starting point for Touring trails. Lötschental offers no quantity for winter sports, but especially quality.

You will also find a 30-kilometer cross-country ski trail in the Lötschendal, through the woods and along the most beautiful spots.

From Lauchernalp you can make the descent to the chalet by ski, snowboard or sleigh.

Summer:
The Lötschental is known as one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Alps.

From our chalet you can very independently walk and climb through the untouched nature of the Lötschental and environment. These tours can be from simple to very challenging in terms of level. You choose!

Through the Tourist office (in Willer) you can contact very experienced mountain guides who can take you for a few hours to a few days. You can also reach several mountain huts from the chalet.

Chalet Hockenhorst:

The Erdgeschoss has a very spacious, comfortable living room with fireplace, open kitchen with electric hob and dishwasher and a very large sunny balcony around the entire first floor. On the top floor there are three 2-person bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet, shower and bath. (Baby cot and highchair is available.) There is also a washing machine.

Untergeschoss (studio) has a spacious living room with open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a double bedroom. The sofa in the living room can be transformed into a double sofa bed.

The entire chalet is suitable for 8-10 people, but it is also very suitable for a couple of smaller groups that attaches more space and freedom.

The prices per week lead per period. The chalet can only be rented per week.
