The spacious flat is located in a quiet neighbourhood in an elevated position on the right side of the lake on a quiet neighbourhood street with no through traffic. You can hardly hear anything from the nearby main road or the railway. The house is 35 years old and has been constantly adapted to technical developments. The 4 ½ room flat is generously proportioned and boasts a large terrace with views of Lake Lucerne and the mountain panorama.
The lakeside promenade is just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to stroll towards the Swiss Museum of Transport or the city centre. Nearby is a public sunbathing lawn with the opportunity to swim in the lake. The site is also suitable for launching smaller boats or stand-up paddles. A tennis court with a public restaurant is also within walking distance. Within 10 minutes you have the choice between various restaurants at Gault Millau level or simple cuisine.
A private hospital is in the immediate vicinity. The Swiss Museum of Transport is two bus stops away and Lucerne's picturesque Old Town offers shopping experiences of the highest calibre. Lucerne railway station, with direct connections to Zurich or the Bernese Oberland, and the congress and cultural centre can also be reached by bus or a leisurely stroll along Lake Lucerne.
There is an extensive network of hiking trails and cycle paths around Lucerne. The Lake Lucerne boats invite you to take a trip, and the mountains of Central Switzerland are within easy reach.
