It is located within walking distance of the nearest beach, restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarkets. The train station and the bus stop can also be reached after a short walk. The apartment is especially perfect for visiting the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. Besides the views of the lake and Locarno, it is also quite significant from religious and cultural points of view. It is a visual delight to take the Locarno-Madonna del Sasso funicular railway and enjoy the views of Lake Maggiore from its charming balconies.

The town of Locarno is a sought-after tourist destination offering great natural landscape and cultural attractions The city center (4 minutes), Piazza Grande, is popular for hosting an annual film festival. Places of interest include the old town, Castello Visconteo (6 minutes) from the 12th century, fine art collections and the promenade. Guests can also take a cruise in the lake or explore the region through its various hiking and biking trails especially around Cardada (34 minutes). The food scene is quite well-developed and the restaurants boast of serving great food with great views.
