Les Petits Bonheurs de mon enfance is an apartment steeped in history in a family chalet that has seen its current owners grow. This character building located in the heart of the old village of Ovronnaz 50m from shops (Coop, gas station, bank, post office, wine bar and restaurant, free shuttle for the cable car) has always been part of the life of the village, welcoming alternately on its ground floor the grocery store of the village, the post office and even the ski school before being a big room of life. The chalet, very bright and south facing, consists of two large apartments with completely independent entrances.
At the ground floor : - A large living room with fireplace opening onto a large terrace facing south (TV, Internet and Wifi access included) - A fully equipped kitchen to accommodate families and groups of friends (Coffee maker, fondue pot, raclette stove, etc.) - A bathroom with WC Upstairs 3 bedrooms: - The first bedroom with double bed (180x200) offers a balcony and a clear view of the surrounding peaks. - The second bedroom has a single bed and a second single alcove bed opening onto a balcony shared with the third bedroom. - The last bedroom has a small double bed (120x200) and a single bed. - A shower room with WC Mattresses are available to be used on the floor when needed. The chalet also offers two completely private parking spaces. Ovronnaz "la Naturelle", summer and winter tourist resort located at an altitude of 1350 m (25 km from Sion), has a thermal center and cures, a partner ski area with the Magic Pass offering some 42 km of slopes (alpine and cross-country skis). In winter: Alpine and cross-country skis, marked winter trails on foot or on snowshoes, ski touring, sledging and paragliding, baby lift, Snow Park. Ovronnaz also has a magnificent thermal center including a spa and welness area which offers a wide choice of treatments and massage as well as a restaurant. In summer: come and enjoy authentic and magnificent nature under the Valais sun through marked hikes accessible at all levels. Discover a rich and generous traditional terroir that you can taste with regional producers (cured meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits and vegetables, wines) On foot or by bike, discover the vineyards of the plain, their sentry boxes and cellars. Taste the wines from thousands of sun-drenched vines, including a specialty unique in the world: the white humagne of Leytron. During the summer, the Odonne mountain pasture welcomes herds for summer pasturing. Cheese and the famous Odonne serac are made and sold on the spot. Each year, the inalpe and the désalpe are the occasion of great popular festivities in Ovronnaz. In June and October, the herds of the Odonne pasture are in the spotlight: queen fights, musical atmosphere with horns from the Alps.
Special notes regarding property cleaning and preparation protocols:
Since the beginning of the COVID 19 crisis in March 2020, we have fully equipped and trained our caretakers in the protocols for cleaning and preparing accommodation according to the recommendations of the Swiss and European health authorities, namely: Protective measures for the use of housekeepers Before starting to clean the property, the persons in charge of these services must wash their hands and put on disposable waterproof gloves and must avoid touching their faces when cleaning the premises. Gloves must be discarded after each session. Housekeepers should wash their hands immediately after removing their gloves, and be sure to ventilate and circulate air throughout the property during and after cleaning. Property cleaning: Often touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after each stay. Frequently affected surfaces include: tables, hard-backed chairs, door handles, stair rails, switches, remote controls, cabinet and closet handles, desks, toilets, sinks and sinks, bedside tables and kitchen worktops and other bathroom surfaces, but also key boxes. A two-step approach is used to ensure the hygiene of these surfaces: to begin with, the janitors use detergent or soap and hot water to clean any traces of dirt on these surfaces, before carrying out a complete disinfection , to eliminate germs. Hardly touched surfaces - Floors, walls, blinds and all other surfaces that are not touched as often are cleaned with hot water and detergent. The disinfection products used are taken from the list established by the Federal Office of Public Health. Towels, sheets and other household linen - The janitors are provided with disposable gloves when changing the linen. The laundry is washed using the warmest temperature and completely dried.
