Chalet Carmen, in Casa Vanessa, is a top-floor duplex apartment located in Casa Vanessa, on the main street, with access through a tunnel and elevator, 200m from end of the ski runs, 2 mins to Matterhorn Express ski lift.
With its sloping wooden ceilings and extensive panelling, this cosy duplex attic chalet apartment offers 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (two en-suite).
The penthouse features a high ceilinged living room with a traditional wood burning fireplace, an open plan kitchen with dining and bar area.
Upstairs there is a mezzanine floor with a second living area, which also features a sofa bed and a bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Its sunny south and east facing balconies have plunging views to the river.
Three of the four bedrooms have beds which can be made up as doubles or twins, whereas the fourth has a fixed king size bed.
One bathroom has a bath, shower and WC, the second one features a shower and WC and the third one a bath and WC.

Chalet Carmen is a duplex attic apartment located in Casa Vanessa which is perched on a hilltop, yet very easy to get to.
Access is very convenient via a tunnel lift which is 200 metres away from the Matterhorn Express base station and, in winter, the end point of the main resort ski run. The church square with its boutiques and restaurants is just five minutes away in the other direction.
In Winter guests of the chalet can use a shared wellness area with a sauna and a steam room located in the same building.
Guests can leave theirs skis and boots in the tunnel´s ski-room.
