The charming apartment for two people is located in a typical Ticino house in Ronco sopra Ascona. The picturesque town, also called "Balcony over Lake Maggiore", is famous for its breathtaking view of the lake and has captivated numerous artists such as Erich Maria Remarque and Gerhard Hauptmann.
The apartment is located at the end of the village, in the direction of Losone, in a heavenly quiet area surrounded by greenery and overlooking the lake. From the private parking lot, a stone staircase more than a hundred years old leads you through a picturesque stone gate directly to the separate entrance. You can also easily reach this vacation home by bus. A bus stop is only a 5-minute walk away.
The center of the charming vacation apartment is a spacious, fully furnished living-sleeping room, which includes a cozy dining area for two people as well as two separate beds (90cm and 120cm wide). A well-stocked bookshelf and Wifi are also available. Best conditions to spend here wonderfully relaxing hours. The apartment also includes a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen, where you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious snack. And what could be better than starting the day on the small breakfast balcony with an unforgettable view over Lake Maggiore?
Don't feel like cooking? Then go out! In just four minutes walk you can reach the nearest restaurant. You can also easily walk to the ancient village center. Here you will find other recommended restaurants and grottos, which are known for their Tessin cuisine. There is also a small village store where you can buy the most important groceries and magazines. And while you are in the center, be sure to visit the church of San Martino. The imposing building from the 14 - 15 century is rich in art treasures and impresses with numerous, beautiful altars just as with centuries-old frescoes. And via the so-called ladder of heaven with its 800 steps you will reach the lake directly. We welcome you personally and look forward to seeing you.
