New, oiled maple parquet floors + newly painted! - Our sunny 4-room attic flat (3rd floor) is a very family-friendly, architecturally original construction from the 1970s. It has been completely renovated on the outside (+ energy-efficient) and partially renovated on the inside. It is ideally located for relaxing, shopping, sport and culture. The view from the living room facing south to the Medels glacier is fantastic. From the kitchen to the north, you can see the valley station of the Disentis mountain railway. The huge south-facing balcony tempts you to relax without setting foot in nature... The car can be parked in our garage (in the house). For those who prefer to travel by public transport: The Matterhorn Gotthard railway stop is just a 5-minute walk away (change at Disentis station) in the direction of the Sedrun-Andermatt ski arena.

The flat is very suitable for children. It offers plenty of space to play. Toys and countless games are available. As it sleeps up to 10 people, even large families can spend their holidays in one flat. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with 7 beds (incl. children's bed) still offer plenty of privacy. There is also a fully insulated sleeping loft with an additional 6 beds - an often welcome additional retreat when things get too wild at the front. An extendable dining table offers enough space for everyone (+ child seat).

Our flat is an Eldorado for sports enthusiasts: it is located on the edge of the village: sledging, biking, jogging, (grass) football, & playing directly from the house; table tennis, sauna, & stair running in the house; Disentis 3000m mountain railways + Sedrun-Andermatt ski arena within sight, with valley descent to the front of the house, + ski tours. A large, varied sports centre (ice skating, indoor and outdoor tennis, minigolf, football, climbing wall, badminton, children's playground; restaurant) is a 4-minute walk away. Horse riding, golf and rays are also possible in the immediate vicinity. The young rocky Rhine (including the only gold prospecting opportunity in Switzerland) is only 3 km away, where a wonderful bathing lake with an even better children's playground at the TCS campsite will delight all hearts.

Shopping is easy at the COOP, just a 3-minute walk away. Of course, there are also other shops such as banks, pharmacy/drugstore, library and household goods. In the historic monastery village of Disentis, the 1400-year-old Benedictine monastery plays a formative role in the religious, (music) cultural and educational spheres. In the 200-year-old "Stiva Grischuna/Alte Bündner Stube", in low, dark, creaky wooden parlours in the rococo style, you can enjoy traditional food. A disco bar is within walking distance, but out of earshot.
