Thanks to its proximity to the Italian border, excursions to Italy are also easy - the town of Luino, where a lively market is held every Wednesday, can be reached in just 25 minutes by car or train. Como can be reached by car in around an hour and Milan in just 1.5 hours. In the summer months, Lake Maggiore invites you to explore it by boat from Gerra.

The house offers two separate flats and is just a 10-minute walk from the railway station and a 2-minute walk from the bus stop. Restaurants and a small supermarket for daily needs are also within a short walking distance. The lake is just a 2-minute walk away - ideal for a refreshing dip. Hiking trails start around the house, inviting you to explore at any time of year or to collect chestnuts in autumn.
