La Punt Chamues-ch lies 1700 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Albula Pass in the sunny high valley of the Upper Engadine.

Other sports and leisure activities: The sunny Upper Engadine offers ideal conditions for sporting activities in summer, such as hiking, mountain biking, road cycling or high mountain tours. In winter, La Punt is part of one of the largest winter sports regions in Switzerland, with modern cable car and lift facilities in the Corvatsch, Corviglia, Diavolezza, Lagalp, Zuoz and Samedan ski areas. By car or bus (bus stop 50m away), the ski areas mentioned can be reached in a short time, and the conditions for cross-country skiers are paradisiacal: the cross-country ski trail is only 100m away and offers access to 230 kilometres of varied cross-country skiing à discrétion. This also includes the famous marathon route.

Excursion possibilities: Due to its size, the Upper Engadine itself offers many excursion possibilities, such as access to the Swiss National Park in S-chanf. Not far away are the Bergell or Lake Como in Italy via the Maloya Pass. Or the Poschiavo Valley with the Rhaetian Railway over the Bernina Pass (route is a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to the picturesque town of Posciavo. Milan can also be reached quickly by car in around 2 hours.
