Description of the holiday rental

The stylishly renovated three-bedroom flat (110 m²), equipped with modern furnishings, is located in a quiet area on the ground floor of an apartment building on the outskirts of Samedan. The train station is at ground level within reach of 500 m. The village centre is also only 5 walking minutes away. The Inn flows past at a distance of 100 m. Although the view is partially obscured, one enjoys a fantastic view of the mountain panorama such as Piz Palue or Piz Bernina (see pictures). The cross-country skiing trail runs right past the house. The valley station of the Celerina train, which leads to the ski resort of St. Moritz, can be reached within 5 minutes by train or bus.

A large modern living/dining room equipped with modern furnishings features two leather sofas and a glass table, acrylic dining table with 6 leather chairs, large sideboard, large LED TV with upc cablecom, free of charge wireless internet (Wi-Fi), stereo, DVD player, video recorder. Modern, fully-fitted kitchen with a beautiful stone (cooking facilities with 4 hobs, extractor hood, oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave, Jura coffee machine, toaster, fondue dishes, etc.). Bedroom 1 is equipped with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a LED TV and a private bathroom/WC. Bedroom 2 contains two single beds and a chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 provides a comfortable sofa, a desk and a chest of drawers. The sofa can easily be transformed into a comfortable double bed with slatted frame by one single step. A separate shower/WC across the floor belongs with it.

All beds are equipped with new high-quality mattresses. There is under floor heading as well as natural wooden floors throughout the whole flat. Balcony. Parking lot provided in the underground car park. Compartment available in the ski storage room. A private washing machine/dryer in the flat, iron. Cot on request. Senior-citizen friendly.

Surrounding area

Samedan is located at an altitude of 1720 m. above sea level, well situated in the middle of one of the biggest tourist areas in Switzerland.

All the tourist destinations and infrastructure of the area, such as St. Moritz, Pontresina, Celerina, the Upper Engadine lakes and the national park at Ofen’s Pass, are just minutes away from the main town of the Upper Engadine. The community of Samedan has the oldest golf course in Switzerland (18-holes, 1 km away).

The beautiful, well-preserved village centre is carefully maintained by the tradition-conscious locals and represents a major cultural asset for the whole region. The beauty of the old manor houses with their attractive sgraffiti can be discovered during a walk in the streets and alleys.

Engadine lakes, Bernina train, Corvatsch Corviglia Marguns Diavolezza, Bernina Pass, Maloja Pass, Muottas Muragl cable railway, Val Roseg or Val Bever carriage ride, Helibernina sightseeing-flight from Samedan airfield, drive to the duty-free town Livigno IT, railway line to Tirano.
