The resort also has a wonderfully tranquil side. Set amidst sublimely beautiful and unspoilt scenery with expansive frozen lakes, forests dusted with snow, and peaceful footpaths and scenic cross-country ski trails leading through the enchanting Engadin mountain landscape, Silvaplana also offers an abundance of treats to those who prefer natural highs to adrenalin-fuelled thrills.
