Chesa Gabriel
Visão geral
Description of the holiday rental
In the middle of the village centre of Zuoz is the historic Engadine house from the 16th century, the Chesa Gabriel, formerly the Chesa Travers with its quiet, 3-room flat, in the old Engadine style, on the 3rd floor. This original flat is winding with narrow corridors and sloping walls, on 2 levels connected by 3 flights of stairs.
On the lower level, at the end of a short corridor where you will find the wardrobe and a cupboard, is the cosy, bright corner living room (16.5 m2) with an unobstructed view of the mountains. There is a sofa, a club table with upholstered chairs, a corner bench and chairs for socialising around the table, an old original chest from the 18th century as storage space with TV. WLAN, SAT-TV free of charge.
On the same level there is a second bedroom (6 m2) with bunk bed and chest of drawers. The room is intended for children. They find such a setup very funny and attractive. But adults can also sleep there and feel comfortable because the beds have dimensions for adults. (100 cm x 200 cm)
On the upper level is the cosy double bedroom with two bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The double bed has two single mattresses, but can also be converted into a wide bed. (200 cm x 190 cm).
Next to it is the bathroom (3 m2) with shower, WC, washbasin and radiant heater.
The third room on this level is the kitchen (9.5 m2) with kitchen combination, microwave, radio with integrated CD player, kitchen table with chairs and kitchen buffet.
A door in the kitchen wall leads into a small storage and equipment room with shelves. Here the lady of the house finds all desirable kitchen appliances and utensils. Starting with the refrigerator with freezer compartment, the coffee machine, raclette oven, fondue caclon with rechaud, mixer etc., up to the hoover, everything at the guest's disposal.
On the outside of the house, at ground level, there is a small ski room. Bicycles can be parked in the lockable, spacious hay barn. A private parking space is also available. Both the ski room and bike room as well as the private parking are free of charge.
On the south side of the house there is a park-like property (approx. 314 m2) surrounded by a wall with lawn, trees, bushes and seating area. The seating area is equipped with garden furniture consisting of table, bench, chairs, deck chairs and parasol. The use of this facility is also free of charge.
