Nestled amongst the natural beauty of Valle Verzasca, this modern retreat sets the scene for an effortless escape for families and groups of 5. Internally, the spacious river-view apartment boasts a large and inviting living space, with an exposed beamed ceiling providing a dose of ambience to the contemporary interior. A comfy sofa is complemented by a modern fitted family full kitchen diner, ideal for year-round meals in. A spacious, couple-friendly double bedroom is accompanied by a 2nd spacious bedroom furnished with 2 separate single beds (can be joined upon request). A 5th guest can also be accommodated on the single sofa bed in the living room. Completing the internal layout is a spacious chic shower room with washing machine.

Please note larger groups can also be accommodated within the same residence, in the additional apartments, ID 4091 and 4089.

To the front of the small-scale residence, a sunny communal terrace with alfresco dining set for 6 and a stone-built BBQ can also be enjoyed. An allocated parking space is situated 100 metres away. From the idyllic elevated setting of the residence, the local amenities and swimming spots of Valle Verzasca, Lavertezzo and Aquino are all reachable 1-3 minutes’ drive away.

Location

Situated along ‘Via Motta’ in Brione Verzasca, the residence is nestled amongst the tranquil, natural beauty spot of a wooded ravine and river, known as ‘Valle Verzasca’. The beautiful swimming and sunbathing spot in the tiny town of Lavertezzo and the ‘Spiaggetta dei Sassi’ in Aquino are both 3 minutes’ drive away, alongside a host of local authentic eateries and a supermarket. Alongside swimming, hiking around Brione is also a popular past time, with a wealth of hiking trails to enjoy on the doorstep, with a wide range of difficulty trails on offer, from easy to intermediate and difficult.

The popular year-round resort towns of Locarno and neighbouring Ascona can be reached by car within 25-27 minutes. Visiting guests will be able to enjoy a fun day (or evening) out at the lido, casino, falconry centre, the ‘Ghisla Art’ collection, a scenic funicular and a host of unique heritage attractions, including Palazzo Franzoni, Palazzo Morettini and Castello Visconteo. Families and active guests looking to enjoy a fun action-packed day are 42 minutes’ drive away from the Monte Tamaro Adventure Park.
