Description of the holiday rental

This is the ideal place to spend relaxing or exciting holidays in the middle of the mountains of the Valais. There are walks, hikes, mountain biking, paragliding, golf, swimming in summer, and cross-country skiing, downhill skiing for beginners (a 600 m walk from the flat) and experts, sledging (also at 600 m from the flat), ice skating and much more in winter. And of course in both Crans (15 minute walk) and Montana you will find good restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, a casino, museums etc. A free bus will take you from the house to the centre of the resort and to the ski slopes.
Very rarely will you encounter adverse weather and if you do, there is a lot of sight seeing to do in the environment. To name just a few attractions:

  • the largest subterranean lake of Europe is located between Sion and Sierre
  • the wines are famous and you are anywhere always welcome to do some wine tasting
  • at the top, the collegiate church of Valeria (above Sion), you can hear the oldest organ in the world that can still be played, dating from 1430. 
The flat features 2-bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), an open plan living/dining space with a fire place. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Two terraces let you enjoy the sun all day long from sun rise to sun set and your car is conveniently parked in the free garage and hence protected from the snow in winter.
