Description of the holiday rental
Very nice bright new flat, in a very central location. Only a few minutes walk to the centre. Events such as Moon and Stars, film festival etc. can be easily reached on foot within a few minutes. Also the railway station in Muralto, the numerous excellent restaurants and pizzerias, boutiques, shopping facilities. Ascona is about 20 minutes away. All excursion destinations are within easy walking distance. Within 30 minutes to Lugano City by train. Within 3 minutes of the Locarno-Ascona motorway feeder road. A marvellous view is guaranteed in good weather. If the weather is clear enough, you can even see a strip of Lake Maggiore. Everything is furnished to the latest standard. Everything you need for everyday life is available. A box-spring bed with TV, bathroom en suite, etc.
The boat trips on the Lage Maggiore are highly recommended. Don't forget to visit our local mountain Cardada-Cimetta, the Madonna del Sasso and the beautiful valleys such as the famous Verzasca- Maggia- Onsernone valley, etc. For those who like to travel a little further afield, Lugano is just over an hour's drive away or, as mentioned, a 30-minute train journey away, with its excursion destinations: San Salvatore, Mte.Bre, or a little further south Monte Generoso. Lake Lugano is also a great place for a boat trip!
