Description of the holiday rental

Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monument’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.

People: 5-9 

Rooms: 2-4 bedrooms with 2 single beds each and a sleeping possibility in the library. For occupancy up to 5 persons, only 2 floors are occupied. If there are more than 5 people, the top floor is opened up for guests.

Season: All year round.

Short holidays: Only at Easter, Ascension and Whitsun (minimum stay 3 nights)

Altitude: 823 metres above sea level.

Pets: Allowed.

Public transport: By train to Landquart, change to St. Moritz, then Postbus # 4 direction Castasegna Postbus stop Punt Spizarun, on foot to Casa Malussi approx. 5 minutes.

Car park: free public car park in the village. Driveway up to 50 metres in front of the house.

Outdoor area: seating area with table, chairs, parasol, 2 deckchairs.

WLAN: Available on the ground floor.

Heating: With the stoves and several mobile electric heaters.

Stove / fireplace: one parlour stove, one soapstone stove, open fireplace in the kitchen.

Kitchen: Stove, oven, dishwasher, mocha coffee machine, washing machine, fondue set available.

Important addition:
Casa Malussi is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and may be a potential source of danger. The tenant is aware of these circumstances. The owner, e-domizil and the Vacation in architectural monument foundation decline any liability.
