About the accommodation

Casa Baffo is a charming Ticino house in a marvellous location. The house is situated on the sunny slope of Brione sopra Minusio and offers an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore (Magadino plain to Cannobio IT) and the Ticino mountains. A terrace with a cosy lounge and the garden with a pergola and a granite table invite you to linger, there are also deckchairs available.

The house is not suitable for children under 4 years, due to the open stairs.

The typical Ticino house is located right next to the village centre, three restaurants and a bakery are located in the village centre approx. 100m from the house. The bus stop is a two-minute walk from the accommodation. Wide range of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity: ideal for hiking and cycling tours (Cardada Trail) 1 km to the Cardada-Cimetta cable car. Locarno is seven minutes away by car, famous for its film festival and Moon and Stars concerts, not forgetting the jazz festival in Ascona. Locarno has a swimming pool with slides and access to the lake. The two Ticino valleys Verzasca and Maggia with their diversity invite you to hike or swim in the crystal-clear water.
