Ideally placed for a memorable stay in the great outdoors, this modern studio retreat provides the perfect holiday base for a couple or small groups.

Inside, the uplifting ground floor apartment offers an inviting open plan layout, comprising of a contemporary kitchenette with dining area for 4, a single sofa bed, a WiFi-connected Smart TV (please note a portable device will need to be hired, for an extra charge) and a comfy modern double bed for 2.
A sleek fitted shower room with wash basin, WC, bidet and washing machine completes the internal accommodation, whilst a small private rear terrace provides some welcome outdoor space.

The private alfresco dining set for 4 is accompanied by a stone-built BBQ grill, making it ideal for savouring a spot of scenic summertime meals. Please note that larger groups can be accommodated within the same residence, in the additional apartments, ID 4088 or 4091.

To the front of the small-scale residence, a sunny communal terrace with alfresco dining set for 6 and a stone-built BBQ can also be enjoyed. An allocated parking space is situated 100 metres away. From the idyllic elevated setting of the residence, the local amenities and swimming spots of Valle Verzasca, Lavertezzo and Aquino are all reachable 1-3 minutes’ drive away.

Location

Situated along ‘Via Motta’ in Brione Verzasca, the residence is nestled amongst the tranquil, natural beauty spot of a wooded ravine and river, known as ‘Valle Verzasca’. The beautiful swimming and sunbathing spot in the tiny town of Lavertezzo and the ‘Spiaggetta dei Sassi’ in Aquino are both 3 minutes’ drive away, alongside a host of local authentic eateries and a supermarket. Alongside swimming, hiking around Brione is also a popular past time, with a wealth of hiking trails to enjoy on the doorstep, with a wide range of difficulty trails on offer, from easy to intermediate and difficult.

The popular year-round resort towns of Locarno and neighbouring Ascona can be reached by car within 25-27 minutes. Visiting guests will be able to enjoy a fun day (or evening) out at the lido, casino, falconry centre, the ‘Ghisla Art’ collection, a scenic funicular and a host of unique heritage attractions, including Palazzo Franzoni, Palazzo Morettini and Castello Visconteo. Families and active guests looking to enjoy a fun action-packed day are 42 minutes’ drive away from the Monte Tamaro Adventure Park.
