Description of the holiday rental

This former barn has been transformed into a contemporary mayen. Our aim was to maintain our ancestors' way of life. Every morning, you can turn on the wood-burning cooker to keep warm and get your hot water.
This former barn can sleep up to six people, with a double bedroom and a dormitory above the living area.
The base comprises the master bedroom, which opens onto a covered terrace overlooking the valley. The bathroom is illuminated by a slot cut into the ground to provide diffused light.
The former barn contains the main living area, with a fitted kitchen, dining table and seating area. The living space also includes the wood-burning cooker, which heats the entire mayen in the spirit of yesteryear. Large windows on the sides offer views over the valley in a resolutely modern atmosphere.

This mayen is an extraordinary experience away from your everyday life.

Hot pots (extra charge): We provide 3 hot pots divided between the 6 mayens. Use of the hot pots is not included in the price of the accommodation, but is available at an additional cost. The price depends on the length of your stay. They are not private and cannot be reserved. You are responsible for preparing your own firewood, which is available at the entrance to the site.

There is a private car park 450 m from the mayens on foot.
